The Bellagio Cup final probably
wasn't the deal clincher with
FSN but surely Jeffrey Pollack
was observing, from a distance,
with envy.

Three high stakes players:
David Benyamine, Ralph Perry
and Gabriel Thaler.

Two highly successful internet
players : Sir Watts + I wear goggles.

The sixth player was just John Phan,
two bracelets at the WSOP
and many bottles of cristal.

The show commenced with
Bellagio TD Jack Maclelland
wearing a FlairHair cap, the
senior version of the one I
wore during the WSOP.

No Linda Johnson, Layla
Kayleigh, Kimberley
Lansing, Chris Lockey
or Lindsey.

Mike Sexton + Vince Van
Patten were here though.

Not sure if they reverted
to exit interviews as we
had to exit the room before
the taping commenced.

John Gale + JJ Liu shared
the  daily tournament  at
the  Bellagio. John  is  one
of the last  Euro  players
still in town.

While I decided how to spend
my last $15 comp (veggie
lentil soup with an apple
muffin) Michelle Lau noticed
that, despite a FT rep in the
house, neither SirWatts or
IWearGoggles were sponsored.

Despite the return of Mats Andersson
(Yah) and Hevad Khan (Oo Oo Oo)
the Fontana was a peaceful place.

Next up for the Fontana a poker
invitational,which we haven't been
invited to even though it is not a
WPT event.

The new Yellowtail has lots of eye
candy. The restaurant opens to the
public on Friday but has hosted
invited guests,not me, all week.
